Nagarjuna reveals interesting details of Naga Chaitanya & Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding; says, “They wanted it their way”

Nagarjuna, father of Naga Chaitanya revealed that his son and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to marry on December 4. The venue will be his owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. In an interview, he shared insights about their upcoming wedding, revealing that Sobhita’s parents have requested a traditional Telugu ceremony.

Nagarjuna told TOI, that the wedding celebration of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will take place in the gardens of their family-owned studio. He described it as a warm and intimate occasion. The couple has decided to keep the guest list small, inviting around 300-400 close family members and friends.

Nagarjuna said that he felt relieved when Sobhita and Chaitanya decided to take charge of the wedding arrangements themselves. “Chaitanya didn’t want a big wedding; he and Sobhita both preferred a gathering of close family and friends. They told me to leave the arrangements to them. They wanted to do it their way, and honestly, it was a huge relief! I said, please do,” said the 65-year-old father of the groom-to-be.

Nagarjuna also humorously noted that hosting the wedding at the studio, which regularly holds mock weddings during film shoots, made it an easy choice as the setup was already in place. However, he remained tight-lipped about the possibility of a wedding reception.

Speaking about Sobhita, in an earlier chat with The New Indian Express, Nagarjuna had said, “She is a lovely girl, and she too is someone who lives life on her own terms.”

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in August, marking the beginning of their wedding journey. Sobhita recently started her wedding festivities in Visakhapatnam, sharing glimpses from her Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam ceremony on social media. For the traditional ritual, she wore an elegant silk saree paired with gold jewellery and minimal makeup. Captioning her post, she wrote, “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam. And so it begins!”

Naga Chaitanya & Sobhita’s relationship

Previously, Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple had a lavish two-day celebration in Goa in 2017, but separated in 2021. Having dated Sobhita for two years, Chaitanya got engaged in August this year. The couple made their relationship official after being frequently spotted together on vacations.
